How to dress like Kate Middleton

I wanted to do a post about Kate Middleton in honor of her 30th birthday. If you're like me, you absolutely ADORE Kate Middleton. She's so classy, yet down to earth. She can dazzle like a true princess in a beautiful gown, but at the same time, she's can rock her cowboy hat (and/or boots) to go horseback riding. From the day she was introduced as Prince William's fiance in the blue Issa dress, she's been a fashion icon. That dress sold out within a couple of hours, and it's been that way for most of her outfits. Profits for companies like Reiss, H&M, Zara etc have skyrocketed because of her, since she's a frequent shopper at those stores. So not only does she know how to dress, she can also save a buck or two doing it. Where can we get a princess like that, here in the US? Oh wait, I think I know one ;)

OK so these are some of her most stylish appearances (in my humble opinion). I tried my best to find clothes that were similar to hers, but sometimes you just have to be a princess (or close to one) to have access to customized Alexander McQueen gowns...sigh...

On her trip to Canada, the Duchess wowed in a blue Erdem dress. This is one of my favorite outfits on her!

I found something very similar; blue lace dress by French Connection, $105.44 on ASOS. Click here

Kate is wearing a green silk dress by Diane Von Furstenburg

Green Silk Tunic dress, $50. Click here

This Zara dress was sold out online within hours! You can try your luck on Zara.com.

In a black Alice Temperly dress at the 'War Horse" premier on her 30th birthday. Having the Duke of Cambridge as an accessory doesn't hurt either ;)

Obviously this is very different than the dress above, but it's pretty and it's $40.91! Click here

Some dresses I think she would wear...

Found this on Zara's website, on sale for $49.99! Click here

Twisted Front Lace Dress by Reiss online...on sale for $128 (originally $320)

Some dresses I would loveeeeee to have, but then I remember the "kinda-sorta need to be a princess" part...:(

In Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, at the BAFTA awards in LA

Duh, Alexander McQueen again!

Ravishing!

In a Jenny Packham gown

So those were some of my favorite Kate Middleton outfits. She's getting prettier by the day, and I hope she had a wonderful day (her birthday was actually on Monday) and a successful year ahead!

Side note #1: It's also Hritik Roshan's birthday today. For those who don't know, he's an Indian actor/Greek God (hehe, jk). HAPPY 38TH DUGGU, maybe one day you'll read my post and know that I exist :)

Side note #2: Chipotle is awesome. It really IS a bowl filled with dreams!
PS: Yes, I know, I'm random.

Toodles!
