Some things I love, and where to get them!

Goodmorning ya'll! So my blog is having a bit of an identity crisis. Yes, I wanted it to be about football and fashion originally, but blogging is addicting! Now I wanna tell you guys about everything! I see an interesting article in a magazine, I wanna blog about it. I buy cheap tomatoes at the grocery store, I wanna blog about it. I hear about Sachin Tendulkar missing his 100th century (yes, sometimes I follow cricket haha), I wanna blog about it. You get the picture. So, I was thinking, I wanna blog about some great products, from beauty to hair, and where you can find them. Let's start with hair...

1.) Dabur Vatika Intensive Conditioning Hair Mask: I'm in loveeee with this hair mask. It's an Indian hair mask, available in two varieties. You can either get an Egg Protein deep conditioning hair mask, or Virgin Olive hair mask. You're supposed to put it in your hair after shampooing, leave it in for 15 minutes (wrapped in a hot towel). When you rinse it out, your hair will feel soft and luxurious! Even my husband notices when I use this hair mask, and he wouldn't notice if I dyed my hair hot pink. The best part? It's $4.99! Available at your local Indian store.

2.) Sebastian Whipped Cream Light Conditioning Mousse:  This is a fun little can, literally looks like whipped cream! It's a leave-in conditioner that you apply after shampooing (in damp hair). I've been using it for almost a year now; whenever I don't feel like styling my hair, I just put a dollop of this conditioner in my hair, and it gives me nice beachy looking waves. It's also a great heat protectant, for times when you do feel like torturing your hair :p

It's a bit expensive, I buy mine from PR & Partners in Chantilly. By the way, GREAT hair salon with very talented stylists. They actually have you fill out information about your personality and what kind of hair you would like, so the stylist knows what they're working with. Isn't that cute!? AND for every two people you refer (that actually get a haircut), you get a free one! So let me know if anyone is interested :)
SO ANYWHO, I found the mousse on Amazon for a pretty good price. Click the link-edy link.

3.)  Sedu Pro Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline flat iron: This flat iron is uhhhh...wait for it...mazing! (haha, a little HIMYM reference). Now I don't know if this because of the straightening iron or the hair mask (I started using both at the same time), but my hair stays soft and straight for DAYS! I don't get those annoying day-after-straightening-your-hair-waves anymore (NOT the pretty kind...ladies, you know what I'm talking about! ), I don't have to re-straighten my hair, and it gives a nice glossy finish as well. I especially love mine because I got it for an amazing price! Originally, it is $129.99 on Folica.com, but through Plum District, I was able to get it for $59.99 PLUS free shipping PLUS a free hair dryer! Don't worry, I'll keep you posted if I see similar deals.

Ok, that's all folks! I'll be on the lookout for great beauty/fair/fashion etc products, please feel free to pass along information about anything you've tried and loved!

PS: I should really come up with a catch phrase to end each posting with...how about "toodles mcboodles"? HAHA
